About me
Hi my names Matt Clifford I am a first year Journalism student at Winchester University.
I have been chosen to write for the student newspaper as a contributor to the music section and I have aspirations to be a music journalist in the future. I enjoy all types of music and have a very large and eclectic CD collection. I am originally from Wolverhampton (not Birmingham!) and I am a huge Wolves fan.
The first lecture of the People and Politics course was interesting and I found it very helpful to learn about how the country was run and the particulars that go into the running of the government. It was also useful to learn about the past and how politics has evolved and changed over the years I have never studied politics before and I hope the rest of the course will help my understanding of current affairs and the people in power.

I am trying to work out who everybody is. Can you send me a picture so I can put a face to your name.
Hello Matt,
My name is Ben Raworth, and I am editorial director of New Product Development at Dennis Publishing, the people who publish Maxim, Men’s Fitness, Viz, Monkey and many other titles. I have been in touch with Chris Horrie at your university with a view to getting journalism students work experience here at Dennis. Basically, I am overseeing new launches in print and on-line. We are developing loads of new ideas, and you’d get a good grounding in how a modern publisher works. And it’s a laugh. We’d pay travel and lunch. We’re looking for 1-2 week placements. You sound like you’ve got your wits about you: if this interests you drop me a line. We are based in central London, just north of Oxford Street
where is your news story for Ally and Angus?
